an apple a day...

I Love, love, love the end of September mostly because of the apples! They are coming to a market near you .  It's a ritual in my family.  Every Sunday is market day .  Included in our eco-friendly bag are the carrots, the potatoes, the cucumbers , the peaches (it's pretty much the last weekend for those) and the wonderful apples that are just starting to arrive.  For the past couple of weeks, the "paula red's" have been the favorite in our house. But, the most saught one of them all, is the delicious "spartan" that will be queen of the fruit bowl very soon!    C-fantastique !    Enjoy one today !   Really, one of life's small pleasures !
