Some Books and some Beans !

There is something to be said about great service and great food.  These days,  when an outing is in order, when you decide to spend some money at a local restaurant, you want it to be an all positive experience. Because let's face it ...life's too short to spend money in a place where the service is lousy and where the food is, well, not so tasty .
In the past couple of weeks,  I have been twice to a place where , as soon as you set foot in the door you feel welcomed and at ease.  It's Books and Beans in Sudbury @ 113 Durham Street downtown.  I'm greeted by the lady owner who has this amazing smile and a sort of glowing aura about her . There is something organic in the way she presents herself that is very appealing .   So, in the first minute I walk in, I am already feeling like a million bucks .  My friend is waiting for me at a table and he can't believe it's my first time here !  After greeting eachother with "la bise" like the french do - ahhh those french greetings - we head to the cash where the lady owner says hello again and is ready to take our order .   I have been there twice now, and If I may suggest to you the soup, sandwich and coffee trio, if ever you are passing in the region and feel like stopping by.   We get back to our table and not long after, the delicious soup and sandwich arrive in front of us.  Everything is so tasty .   I don't know if it was the company, the portobello mushroom soup, the charming patrons or the relaxed atmosphere that makes this place special,  but all in all, the experience was fabulous. Books and Beans, C-fantastique !
